PEARL SHELL NATURAL SMALL Individual pearl oyster halves in a lovely Small to Medium size are hand-selected from our local commercial pearl farms (Pinctada maxima produce the famous South Sea Pearls). Approx. 9-10cm (3.5-4") in diameter, the shells have beautiful shiny white MOP (mother-of-pearl) inside and the rough natural outer surface. When the shells are removed from water, the edges become brittle and are trimmed to minimise cracking. Ideal for shell displays and a great natural MOP source for inlay and carving material.
