Due to our large & frequently changing stock (last time we looked we had over one million specimen shells in stock, covering hundreds of families and genera) we cannot easily produce a complete catalogue or price list. Seashells are not a commodity like any other - they cannot easily be categorized. Our current price lists (see SHELLS page) are formatted for easy printout and will give you an idea of the wide range of specimen shells we are able to offer. Other areas of our business now include DECOSHELLS - for craft use or interior design, as well as Seashell BOOKS - these sections are also slowly expanding.

Please include your mailing address or your post code, so we can send you a quote including shipping cost to your destination. 3 EASY STEPS: To avoid having to type all the details for every shell, just follow the 3 easy steps below. By not using an online ordering form, you can add your own remarks to your order (i.e. your colour or size preferences, etc.), wherever you like. Naturally you can also send us a handwritten fax or letter, but the method below will save you a lot of time!

1 - Open any pricelist and scroll down to your desired shell item. Select the text you want by clicking and highlighting the NAME & AUTHOR box as well as the complete rows below featuring location, description, grading and price of the shell you would like. To do this, just keep your left mouse-button pressed and drag your cursor down and across until all you want is selected, then release the mouse button. You will find the text you just highlighted still selected. If you make a mistake, no problem! Just left-click your mouse again anywhere else on the screen to de-select and try the same again until you get it right.

2 - Right-click your mouse on the highlighted text. From the pop-up menu, select "Copy" with a left-click of your mouse. This copies only your highlighted text.

3 - Go to our contact page and click on the e-mail link. A new e-mail window will open on your screen. Type a subject (i.e. "Specimen Order" or "Decoshells order" or "Book order") in the subject space. Then put your cursor in the message space. Right-click your mouse, select "Paste" from the pop-up menu with a left-click of your mouse. Your selected bit of text will now appear in your e-mail window. Write your own comments or questions regarding your order as you like.

Please include your name, mailing address (& phone), so we can include a shipping quote in our reply to you. Repeat steps for additional items from our lists and send your e-mail when you are ready.

You can also use WORD, EXCEL, etc. Simply open a new document in your word processing program and copy all your rows of text into that document. Then edit your text until you are happy with it, save the file and attach that document to the e-mail you are sending us.

Any species that is listed with many rows featuring different locations, descriptions and grading - and where you want to select only SOME or ONE of them, is best copied with ALL the info (NAME AND AUTHOR box AND ALL ROWS BELOW belonging to that species, INCLUDING THE ONE YOU WANT). Copy the whole lot in one swoop & transfer to your e-mail or document. Then just DELETE anything you don't want EXCEPT for the rows showing the shells you wish to order. To remove unwanted text, select and highlight the text you want to DELETE from your e-mail, right-click your mouse and choose "Cut" from the pop-up-menu.

All SPECIMEN SHELL prices (SHELLS page) are quoted as retail prices in AUD - not including GST, as they are mainly intended for export and to make ordering easier for our worldwide customers. If you are requesting SPECIMEN SHELLS from within Australia, please ask for a quote in Australian Dollars incl. GST.

All DECOSHELL and BOOK prices are quoted in AUD incl. GST, as they are intended mainly for our Australian customers. Important: GST 10% is applicable to all domestic Australian orders. Minimum order value in every case is AUD 20.00 (incl. GST).

We do not produce specific wholesale price lists, as we would like to offer discounts for large orders in general. If you order more than 10 pcs. of any particular SPECIMEN SHELL listing (same species, size, grading & price), additional discounts may apply. Please note that no further discounts are applicable to already heavily discounted "Wholesale Offers", as specified in our pricelists (i.e. Conidae, Olividae, etc.). We will happily send you our complete discount guidelines if required - simply ask us via e-mail for more information.

Before we ship your order, a pro forma invoice will be posted, faxed or e-mailed to you, showing the total amount of your order and a shipping quote based on your postcode or mailing address.

Australia Post AirMail - If not indicated otherwise, we will use this shipping method for all international orders. This option has been the most efficient, reliable and cost effective method in the past 12 years (parcels to most destinations in Europe and the US will usually take about 7 business days or less from the date of shipping).

Insurance: To insure your parcel will add approx. AUD 8.10 per AUD 100.00 of value to the total amount - delivery is usually faster and against signature only - please advise if required.

EMS / DHL or equivalent courier - You can also request to have your order shipped via courier delivery (4 business days to most destinations worldwide). Please note that the cost of this service is approx. 2-3 times higher than AirMail postage, due to the high fees applying to any seashell merchandise clearing Australian customs and quarantine. If you have a preferred shipping company, please advise your account nr.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL PARCELS TO DESTINATIONS IN CHILE, ARGENTINA, PHILIPPINES, RUSSIA, ITALY and FRANCE now by INSURED AIRMAIL or EMS COURIER ONLY to ensure safe delivery.

For all small / medium volume orders (satchel delivery), we recommend the following shipping options within Australia:

- Australia Post 500g satchel (prepaid - up to 500g = AUD 5.83 (incl. GST), anywhere in Australia). The most economical shipping option for parcels up to 500g within Australia. Delivery time approx. 5 days outside WA.

- Australia Post 3kg satchel (prepaid - up to 3 kg = AUD 10.23 (incl. GST), anywhere in Australia). The most economical shipping option for parcels over 500g and up to 3 kg within Australia. Delivery time approx. 5 days outside WA.

- Australia Post 500g EXPRESS satchel (prepaid - up to 500g = AUD 8.14 (incl. GST), anywhere in Australia). Same size as the regular Australia Post 500g satchel, incl. bar code proof of shipping/delivery. Delivery time overnight (within overnight network only - see Australia Post website for more info) - delivery max. 3 days.

- Australia Post 3kg EXPRESS satchel (prepaid - up to 3kg = AUD 11.55 (incl. GST), anywhere in Australia). Same size as the regular Australia Post 3kg satchel, incl. bar code proof of shipping/delivery. Delivery time overnight (within overnight network only - see Australia Post website for more info) - delivery max. 3 days.

We prefer direct VISA or MasterCard payments. This is by far the cheapest (direct currency conversion), fastest and most efficient method, used by well over 90% of all our overseas customers. Please E-MAIL or FAX (24-hr-FAX: +61-8- 940 99 689) your credit card details. For E-MAIL: Divide your data in 2 separate messages: Your name, mailing address and first part of your card number: 1234 5678 **** **** in the first, and: **** **** 9012 3456 plus card type & expiry date in the second e-mail. We will confirm the arrival of your data, process your payment and send your order at once - if possible on the same day. This simple direct method (without involving a 3rd party like i.e. PayPal) has worked without problems during the last 10 years.
